Oh, take a chance with Nancy, Nancy with

The golden hair and radio with width

Of short wave, long wave and a middle, eh?

That can be heard in Chesapeake or Bay

Of Pigs or Hudson’s Bay or Mandalay.

Suffice to say, there’s extra hay in barns

In Lincolnshire and old Cashmere, today

And yesterday.  Hos é can you see Faye

In Mae in old James Bay?  Alas, I say

In Xanadu and Timbuktu, you play

Whatever suits you at the break of day!

There is an adage, eh?  It says the best

Laid schemes of mice and men gang oft agley!

Our Robert Burns was oft astray, not gay.
