Copenhagen Blues

In Copenhagen by the Sea
A Sagacious Saga in Lyrical Iambs
By Izzy Ess of Willingness

In Copenhagen by the Sea, the fleets of foreign ships began to come toward the mainland and to beach themselves, successfully, because the crews of sailors had decided to approach the pulchritude that was reputed to be present on the shore and mainland of the Danes that occupied the land.  The women of this wonderland came out to greet the hungry men and pleasured them effusively with words of love and happiness.  The men arrived with muskets aimed at them and shot their balls of mass destruction at them, harmlessly, for they had failed to practice aiming.  The sailors laughed and hugged the Danes, both men and women, and were justly justified in feeling that their welcome was unusual.  A fortnight passed without a death or injury while the making of great loves abounded.  In the end, the sailors fast assimilated and were pleased to take on Danish values for their great longevities.  Amen.
