A chocoholic met an alcoholic
Going to Le Grand Hotel, on Harbour
Avenue, for dinner.
They were quite
Good friends, Alonso, Robespierre, and both
Their noses, were all seated at a cozy
Table near the kitchen door where they
Could smell aromas that were stimulating.
Robespierre, the alcoholic, ordered
Chocolate, Chateauneuf liqueurs, that were
Outstanding and Alonso, chocoholic,
Ordered chocolate mousse éclairs that he
Declared essential for his evening, eh?
This final couplette ends this rhyming Ode,
Regarding Code of Ethics, a la mode.
