Buffalo, eh?

RESOURCEFUL BUFFALO

A Serious Sonnette

Suppose a buffalo resorted to

A subterfuge to get along with white

Folks, would she substitute sign language for

A more direct approach or would she simply

Kill the natives so that white folks could

Assassinate their numbers, willy-nilly?

Natives did respect the buffalo

By killing only what they wanted for

Their food and hides.  The noble natives treated

Everything in nature quite respectfully.

I think the buffalo should stampede

All the white folks forcing them to flee

Right back to Europe or an isolate,

Or somewhere near the heated large equate.
