PIERRE AND ORIGINAL SIN

A Youngsters Interpretation

Again, Pierre, repeatedly inspired

His baby brother, Jean Paul Sartre de

La Salle, to ruin private moments when

His parents wanted to be left alone.

He taught him how to watch the doors and thus

Ensure his parents never were ignored

When they closed tight their bedroom door, or bathroom

Door, or any door, around the house,

Or anywhere at friends or relatives,

Or even at the supermarket where

They could have closed the bathroom door to be

Alone, together, eh?  Pierre had learned

To do this when he was as young as his

Young brother, now, but now he had a dupe

In Jean Paul to ensure his parents never

Were alone together.  He, himself

Was not too certain what his parents did

Behind closed doors.  He intuited that

Whatever they were doing it was sinful,

Just as Father Jules had said the other

Day at Sacre Bleu Cathedral.  Father

Jules had talked a lot about the sin

That Eve had done to bring such shame to everyone,

Including him and his whole family

And all his friends  who went to church that day.

He listened carefully to Father Jules

As he related un histoire horrifique,

All about a snake and tree and figs

And apples, which had caused Humanity

To feel ashamed about their actions and

Be mortified if someone acted just

Like Eve.  Our Father Jules implied that women

Are the source for all the Evil here

On Earth.  There was an Angel in the Eden

Garden, name of Lucifer.  He was

A Prince amongst the Angels and a favourite

Of God, but he was as mischievous as

A troublemaker that there was.  He somehow

Changed himself into a one-eyed snake

And offered Eve an apple from a special

Tree and that was that.  Then, suddenly

They were both naked and ashamed and hid

Their groins with fig leaves and they trembled in

Great fear, thereafter.  God returned to see

What Eve had done.  He kicked them out the Eastern

Gate and guarded it with Cupids and

Their arrows and a twirling flaming sword.

It was a good thing that the eyes of Adam

And his Eve were now wide open, for

The banishment from Eden was so final.

Nonetheless, this Adam and this Eve

And all their children generated all

Humanity all by themselves without,

Apparently another woman.  Even

Though the evil Cain killed his own brother,

They begat, with hardly any mention of

Another woman, lots of men who were

Then born with sin right in them.  Our Pierre

Just guessed that his own parents did this sinful

Act when they were quite alone perhaps

Just under cover of the darkness of

The night.  He knew that there were families

With lots of children, eh?  Pierre was sure

That his own vigilance had stopped his folks

From sinning and had stopped the whole begetting

Thing.  Our Father Jules had warned them all

About watching certain movies or reading

Certain books because they were unmonitored

And may show sin in actuality

And that would lead to further sinning.

He did say that movies and those books

With violence were otherwise OK

Because the violence is actually

Normal and not full of the original

Bad sinning done by Eve.  Amen.
