PLATOONS OF LOONY TUNES
A Very Silly Sonnette

Platoons of goons,
festooned by loons and tunes,
Cartoons and loony tunes,
were often seen
In the saloons that
featured brass spittoons.
Suffice to say, in
Hudson’s Bay, and say,
In Mandalay, the Santa Fe,
delayed
By rain and Tina Fey,
installed bidets.
Fifteen and sixteen were
the ages of
Modine and his Christine,
so lean and mean
That they serenely cleaned
out Clementine.
In New York City, there’s
a kitty that
Is pretty and it sings a
ditty re
The Walter Mitty of the
Kansas Three.
Is poetry, contrived in
mystery?
Has Peggy Lee reminded us
of glee?
