FEMALE BEAUTY
A Seriously Sung Silly Sonnette
D’Izzy Ess de la Finesse

There are no words which easily describe
The beauty of the female form, but there
It is.  A picture of de Milo’s armless
Venus, or the Botticelli Venus
Rising, does begin to show us mortal
Males what is it that just fascinates
Us, so.  Or, is it just a figment of
The part of us that has been treasured since
We were just little boys when first we saw
Our mothers in the nude, or suckled at
Her lovely breasts?  Or, was it when we realized
Our naked sisters would become
The naked beauties they were meant to be?
Who knows, my Twiddle Dum and Twiddle Dee?

THE END
