A REALITY CHECQUE
by izzy ess in wilderness
an inspiration was presented me;
it had a mellow music melody --
a blogger blog
made me agog
to write both inner prose and poetry.
suffice to say, eight years ago, no one
was interested in my entrees, tonne
on tonne, so i
resigned, and, sigh,
i lied about successes to my son...
i wondered and i wandered far afield;
what could i do to avid readers yield?
i knew my stuff
was good enough
to catch the eye of someone out there dealed...
relaxed at last, retired and free to write
and paint. torpedoes damned, i saw the light;
flight, NO! fight, YES!
i tried to guess
what readers mental states might be alright.
so, here am i, ten stories high, amongst
the bloggers getting readership, Gott denkst;
read on my dears;
i have no fears,
just tonnes of trembling and a case of ANGST!
THE END
