Find a way to share with an enemy
It's hard to push Hindu and Christian principles which include
peaceful sit-ins, turning of the other cheek, forgiving enemies and
loving neighbours, when it's Jews fighting Arabs.
It's worth concluding that retaliation sucks!
Escalation always leads to bloodshed and killing and maiming of many innocents, threatens genocide, destruction and disruption of families, pointing of rockets, rattling of sabres and exciting of known terrorizing bullies and their nations.
Stop it! Shun anger and fear. Push love. Choose sanity.
Prevent annihilation. Make peace, both inner and outer.
Pick a few of your closest friends and supporters and sit down and share a glass of tea and a bowl of chicken soup.
Or if you prefer, a demitasse of Lebanese coffee and a chunk of halvah.
Listen to some Borodin or Copeland, Lennon or Cohen.
Dance and drink together. Share some of your old jokes and stories. Show those pictures of your children, grandchildren and pets.
