LAVENDER
a limerick
by izzy ess from inverness
A dragon coloured lavendish
Contrived to savour Cavendish,
A fish from West
Wherein the best
Gourmets arrived to eat a dish...
When Lavendish survived the day
His friends and he made rapid hay;
They hied to sigh
And give the eye
To Amadeus Mandalay!
Surprisingly, Pierre was there
To show his ample derriere;
Adele replied
"I never lied!
La Mer is where one eats a pear."
"I swear I ne'er compare a bear
To Feragamo in the air."
Pierre replied,
"He always lied.
His ship was swept out with a dare!"
Suffice to say, on Hudson's Bay'
The lark sung, "Clinton, Make My Day!"
A purple ant
Began to plant
The seeds of discontent. OK!
THE END
