BEHOLD AND BEWARE

The facts of life…

Behold the yellow jellyfish who stings

Its food to death and then enfolds it in

Its membranes and dissolves it for its food

And nourishment.  Behold the puffed up puffer

Fish who spits its deadly neurotoxin at

Its enemies and living food and paralyzes

It completely for a meal.

Behold the lovely Venus Fly Trap who

Entices flies into its fine barbed mouth

And then dissolves them for an evening meal.

Behold the lovely woman who desires

A lovely house and furniture but has

No money to obtain them.  She entices

Men to love her and commit to her

So that divorce may yield the things she doth

Desire.  Behold societies that do support

The puffer fish, the fly traps, jellyfish

And women who do operate within

The Kingdom of the Earth set up by God

And His loud worshippers.  Beware, the sinners

Will be drowned by Him and them, or burned

At stakes or skewered, eh?  In Mandalay

Or Hudson’s Bay, the tale of prey and predators

Is told and acted out each day.  Amen.
