SHIRLEY AND CHARLEY
A Silly
Sonnette
By Izzy Ess of Inverness
A whirly
girlie by the name of Shirley
Surely,
surly and up really early,
Served her
seven tennis balls with curves
That would
have baffled Curly Charley, had
He not
prepared his burly ball returns,
Just yesterday,
with slip, a clay for molding
Bay-view
dogs in view of Beowulf wolves,
Who danced and
twirled in fancy pants free-lance.
As surely
as Myrrh Shirley hit her boomer
Serves,
Prince Barley Charley knocked the stuffing
Out and
scattered yellow Jell-O on
The former
Count of Effingham, beside
The
Countess Bellingham who sat dumb-founded
In the
courtside, inside Royal lounge.
